Abstract Background Benign mesenchymal tumors are rare accounting for 5% of all salivary gland and less than 10% submandibular or sublingual tumors. Case presentation The present case study represents a large-size benign arising from the mandible region. patient comes with complaint prominent swelling on right side lower jaw. Clinical history revealed that appeared around 5 years ago enhanced over time to form large tumor. presented signs anemia hypoproteinemia, which were developed due dysphagia bleeding in A worm infestation was also found during clinical examination, severe pain, foul smell, fungating tumor, frequent pus discharge, reported. treated by surgical removal within 8 h surgery. Right segmental mandibulectomy wide local tumor excision performed under general anesthesia prophylactic tracheostomy maintain secure airway. huge defect cm × 6 generated face after removal, repaired help advancement flap reconstruction. size 30 20 weight 3.5 kg. Conclusion To our best knowledge, is first literature has reported such success surgery current very achieve developing countries. By reporting detailed procedures, will increase misdiagnosis, improper treatment, treatment delays, associated complications.
